Turning Points in German History
Germany has faced a lot of conflict in its history. In the 1900s, the two World Wars caused the most change in Germany. The unification of Germany was originally a difficult thing to accomplish, and once it was, it was torn apart again by war. Most famously, Hitler cause an uproar in the country with his concentration camps and radical ideas for taking over Germany. After all the wars ended in Germany, the country was able to reunify as a whole. This occurred a year after the demolition of the Berlin Wall, which separated eastern and western Germany.
